The third meeting of the Working Group, composed of experts designated by twenty-seven States Parties to the International Convention against Doping in Sport, will take place at UNESCO Headquarters on 24 September 2018. The meeting aims at advancing the collective work on the Operational Guidelines and the framework of consequences for non-compliance with the Convention.

The draft documents have been revised by the members of the Working Group both in-session during their previous meetings (held on 26 March and 25 June 2018), and out-of-session through the dedicated online platform. The consultation with the members of the Working Group on the different chapters of the draft document is ongoing.

The consolidated draft document is expected to be available following the fourth and last meeting of the Working Group, scheduled to take place at UNESCO Headquarters on 6 December 2018. Upon its endorsement by the Bureau of the Conference of Parties, the document will be circulated for feedback to all States Parties in 2019.

*Following the sixth session of the Conference of Parties to the Anti-Doping Convention (25-26 September 2017), an open-ended Working Group was established to develop Operational Guidelines and a framework of consequences for non-compliance so as to ensure a clear understanding of the core measures of the Convention and to support States Parties in the implementation of its provisions.
