Regional training seminar on the national and regional information centres for the recognition of higher education diplomas and certificates in the Arab States
The working group in Cairo meeting has confirmed the need of establishing information centres for the recognition of higher education diplomas and certificates at national and regional levels and requested UNESCO Beirut office to work on this process.
The overall objective is to train two experts from the ministries of education and higher education from the Arab States who are working on the recognition process in their respective countries and organizations.
The workshop will bring together 38-40 experts from the Arab region with the goal of joint and peer learning information and experience sharing in the field of the recognition in higher education. Member States will be invited to present and share existing recognition practices. The experts will contribute to the design of the future Arab Regional Information Center (ARIC).
