The second meeting of the Bureau of the sixth session of the Conference of Parties (COP6) to the International Convention against Doping in Sport will be held at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris on 4 December 2018.

In line with the mandate given by the Conference of Parties, the Bureau meeting aims at ensuring the follow-up to COP6 resolutions as well as addressing matters of relevance to the Convention.

The agenda will include items related to compliance (including the development of a compliance label and the follow-up to 2016-2017 non-compliance), the action plan for implementing recommendations of the 2017 evaluation of the Convention, values-based education, communication and resource mobilization.

Bureau Members will also be provided with an update on the development of operational guidelines and of a framework of consequences for non-compliance with the Convention.

The meeting will be attended by the members of the COP6 Bureau, as well as the Chairperson of the Approval Committee of the Fund for the Elimination of Doping in Sport and the Chairperson of the Working Group tasked with the development of operational guidelines and a framework of consequences for non-compliance. The Council of Europe and the World Anti-Doping Agency are invited as observers.

The COP6 Bureau is composed of the Dominican Republic, the Republic of Korea, Romania, Togo, the United Kingdom (Rapporteur) and is chaired by Mr Saleh Al-Konbaz Mohammed (Saudi Arabia).
