The fourth meeting of the Working Group will be held at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris on 6 December 2018. It is expected that the Group’s proposal on the draft Operational Guidelines and framework of consequences for non-compliance with the International Convention against Doping in Sport will be finalized during this final meeting. The Bureau of the Sixth Session of the Conference of Parties (COP6) will also be represented during the discussions.

The members of the Working Group have collectively amended the draft documents, both in-session at their previous meetings (held on 26 March, 25 June and 24 September 2018) and out-of-session through a dedicated online platform.

The consolidated draft documents will be put forward for the consideration of the COP6 Bureau and circulated for feedback to all States Parties in January 2019. The final drafts will be submitted for approval at the Seventh Session of the Conference of Parties to the Convention in 2019.

*As a result of the Resolution 6CP/5 of the Sixth Session of the Conference of Parties to the Anti-Doping Convention (25-26 September 2017), an open-ended Working Group, composed of experts designated by twenty-seven States Parties, was established to develop Operational Guidelines and a framework of consequences for non-compliance with the Convention.
